Elopement Mayan Ancestral Wedding in Tulum – Edna & Erick

Edna & Erick chose to celebrate and declare their love by one of the most suggestive ceremonies ever: the Ancestral Maya Wedding.

The venue was simply spectacular, in the deep Mayan jungle close by Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico.

An original mystic Mayan pyramid, located just above the sacred crystal cenote, surrounded by the lush; the only sounds were birdsongs.

Our photographer was really amazed by the countless opportunities of shootings in this surrounding.

Our Shaman accurately prepared the altar for our sweethearts with the traditional offerings to the Gods: corn, beans, rice and fruit to wish prosperity and fertility.Red flowers to represent the North, yellow the East, South with purple and West with white flowers.

The Shaman welcomed Edna & Erick with a purification ritual using Copal, a native plant burned by the Mayas as incense.
