Elopement Mayan Wedding in Tulum – Brenda & Miguel

Brenda & Miguel decided to celebrate their love at the famous Riviera Maya and they chose one of the most romantic and enchanting ceremonies: the Mayan one, rich in ancestral traditions and touching feelings.

The venue was one amazing cenote located in the jungle close by Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The cenotes are sinkholes of fresh water, located in the lush and considered sacred by the Mayan people.

The day was simply beautiful; the sun passed through the trees and made all the greens shine so bright…. such a perfect ambient for our photographer!

Our Shaman finely prepared a magnificent altar with colored flowers, cocoa and coffee seeds, corn and fruit!

Brenda & Miguel totally embraced the Mayan ritual; the couple exchanged the flowers, the seeds and also the rings.

Finally the Shaman tied their hands with a purple lace and the air was filled by the sound of the blow of the conch shell and the drums.

The newlyweds were so touched by the meaningful words of the Shaman; the Mayan wedding ceremonies are enchanting, so heartwarming and actually put yourself in a deep connection with the amazing nature of Riviera Maya, the lush, the cenotes, the wild animals.

Dear Brenda & MIguel we are extremely grateful for the honor to be with you in this significant day of your life; wishing you lots of love and happiness, a long and happy marriage and a full-filed future together! Congratulations!
