The couple chose a cenote, a geological marvel found only in this part of the world, for their ceremony’s location. Nestled amidst the dense tropical foliage of the Riviera Maya, the cenote’s turquoise waters provided a sense of peace and isolation from the outside world, offering the couple a secluded haven to celebrate their love.
Presided over by a Mayan Shaman, the ceremony was a harmonious blend of age-old traditions and contemporary love. The Shaman invoked the elements and the cardinal directions, reciting ancient prayers to bless Anna and Jose’s union. Drums beat rhythmically, harmonizing with the couple’s beating hearts, as they exchanged their vows.
Attention to every detail was paramount for us.
